HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!
I hope your start of the new year was as awesome and relaxed as ours and that you’re just as excited about it as we are. 2016 got such a bad rep, that there is probably no way that 2017 could be any worse. Well, let’s hope not at least. As is pretty much tradition nowadays, every traveler out there has their own Travel bucket list or something similar for the new year. I’m going to share ours with you in a few moments, but first, let me tell you about our resolutions for this year (and this blog) and what you can expect to read and see in the next 12 month.
I’m not giving everything away at this point (I still want to be able to surprise you guys with a few things 😉 ) but it’s safe to say that there is plenty in store for you in 2017. We’re planning to see at least 24 new places (countries, cities, monuments, NPs etc.) so that means lots and lots of new material and tips for you guys. I’m still expanding our picture archives, so stay tuned for that. And finally, Jan is going to get into the writing too. All the music lovers of you should stay tuned for his postings, as he will be putting the musical spin on travel, with festival tips, cities for music lovers and the perfect soundtracks for destinations etc.
So much to see, so much to do, but so little time
Next to all the exciting inspiration we’ll hopefully provide you with, I’m planning on expanding our travel tips column. I’ll be posting about the best ways to organize a road trip, plan a wardrobe that fits into your carry-on, how to navigate and find the best Airbnb accommodations and a lot more. You’ll be a travel expert by the end of the year ;).
Our 2017 Travel Bucket List
But now onto our Bucket list for this year. We’ve already planned some of the destinations on this list and hope to squeeze in the remaining ones during the year. Who knows, maybe we even find some good deals that will take us to places we didn’t even think about. As we’re living in the US right now, you’ll see most of our destinations are in the continental US, but we hope that we’re going to see as much of this amazing country as we can in the few years we have here.
